Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born May 26th 1978, in Campinas Sao Paulo. She's an actress in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime on March 20, 2020. She is currently the manager of the Assassination Witness Project and is a key member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement. The GI TOC's research focuses on the assassination of people (including disappearances) as well as violence and different types of crimes related to illicit economics. Her research interests focus on the effects of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights, as well as the impact of the laws and policies. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. In addition, she has an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations through Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula has a bachelor degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She trained as a lawyer and worked for 4 years at an attorney firm for public law. Her past experiences also included assisting roles at non-governmental organizations that are headquartered in Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
