Anamaria Marina is an Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film for which she received the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. The actress fluently speaks French, German and English. Her mother was a violinist The father of her is a theater professor in one of Romania's top acting schools. The award was presented to her as the Best Female Actor of the Year in 2000 Award at the young Actor Gala Mangalia. In 2008, the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as a European Shooting Star. It also received two other awards, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. Additionally, she was a part in the film of Francis Ford Coppola Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca portrayed Yasim in the BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca was a part of her role in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. Later, she had a major role in the 2014 film Fury in which she played the role of a German woman who was named Irma Aunt of Emma.
